Cute. Polar bears are dangerous- surprised that he did not eat the dog. Some poor guy fell into the bear pit in Baltimore years ago and the bear did not play with him. Had to laugh at the commentary by the other blogger about bear extinction. The world is a big place- and if we leave them alone they will thrive. They are not in a place where the bear population needs to be managed unlike Maryland and Virginia. Everyone gets all dewy-eyed about the bears when the current governor in MD allowed a sanctioned hunt. Everyone thinks that thousands of people are roaming the woods with machine guns eradicating the bears- when in reality the annual take in Maryland on them is 20-25 animals. They are just plain hard to find in the wild- then you have to be a good enough shot to hit one.

Used to work with a guy that hunted them in Canada with a bow. That is a real man. Same guy used to light himself on fire and jump into a 3 foot pool from 100ft. for state fairs- another manly act. I guess that the thought of being in the bear with only a bow didn't bug him.
