polyphasic sleep

After reading this Time article yesterday, I’ve been pondering a month exercise in polyphasic sleep. (Where, essentially, you just take a 30 min nap every 6 hours or so.) I could work it around my job, taking my short nap on my lunch break.

Anyway, the reason for this post is I stumbled across this blog, Every Four Hours, which is the story of a couple switching over to a polyphasic sleep cycle. They just started TODAY, which is odd and cool. It’s an omen!

It would be very neat if I could reclaim 5 hours a day that I normally sleep through. Of course, this regimen would make me a creature of the night, in some sense, but I’m ok with that.

UPDATE: Actually, it takes at least 10 days to get slightly used to the routine, so I think it’d have to be longer than a month trial..

UPDATE II: Here is a GREAT site, logging a mans trials with polyphasic sleep. After reading this I’m really excited to try it.

I am, of course, all about this. Seems they are having some issues with your website. I just went there and they have the wp-config page.

Possible because I just changed to their happy hosting plan. This might explain the momentary hiccup..

We should try this starting soon, maybe this weekend.
