This was developed in 1945 for Navy Pilots.

    Wow, those illustrations are really amazing. Sometimes I think modern design whips the llamas ass, and then I see something way ahead of its time. ^_^

    I never knew giant men held up airplanes until I read this.

    It is quite cool.
