I thought of this concept a few weeks ago, and decided to look on the web to see if anyone had beaten me to it. I see you did! The idea is none-the-less an interesting one and you seem to have developed the idea a bit further.

Assuming you get this message (and the email address that I’ve attached to leave a comment), I would appreciate it if you could tell me if you came across any other people that have discussed this form of self government? And what your view is on it now that it’s more than a year later?

I agree. Bluetooth headsets need to go. There will be an entire generation that grows older wondering why they have tumors and cancer growing like some menace in their head.

It has been pretty well established that transmission waves are a cancer cause. The British media has this well documented although the US media refuses to print it because of the amount of money riding on cell phone sales and other peripheral items.

I get that. I don’t think I would replace the headset I got unless I become really used to it by then.

The neat thing for me is that it will eventually get to the point where Bluetooth is used in other devices, like wearable computers.

Also, this particular headset will switch from my laptop/iPod to my phone when I get a call, and looks snazzy on top of that. It is pretty cool.

But I do not think it outweighs the waste factor. We need to seriously be more aware of the materials that go into the electronics we buy.

Fair idea but I believe that some people actually like sitting at a table across from each other and face to face playing on a real board. I played a game of chess years ago with someone online and it was a bore- and extra time permits the opponent to research the next move to much. Face to face play requires that you really have your game hat on- no where to run and no where to hide.
